Where have I been?
Recovering mostly. The conference is over. But the organisation part of it isn’t. There are accounts to be finalised and even now, still a lot of emails to answer. So let me digress to answer the most often asked question via email now: Conference proceedings will be posted on the website and you will all be emailed to be told when they get uploaded. Relaunch of the lines magazine!
Hi, The magazine lines has been relaunched and now has a weblog as well. The magazine is run by Sri Lankans in the U.S. and discusses and analyses Sri Lankan politics. They do welcome contributions so if you have anything to say, send something in. The lines blog is moderated by S. Nanthikesan and Vasuki Nesiah. In addition to comments and more informal interventions, we are also happy to host short essays, political satire, interviews, book and film reviews, art and theatre criticism, fiction, political cartoons and poetry.
