Competitions for writers
Just to let you know of some competitions currently open for entries: The 2010 T.A.G. Hungerford Award: Sponsors: Writing WA, New Edition Bookshop, The West Australian, & Fremantle Press Prize: $12,000 AUD + a publishing contract with Fremantle Press Eligibility: Australian citizens or permanent residents who reside primarily in Western Australia only. Rules: Previously unpublished material in fiction or creative non-fiction genre of 50,000 words minimum. WordPress 2.7.1, 4 Things I've Learnt This Fortnight and Using Magento
I upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1 and found it relatively painless and easy to do so. So far, no problems. I zipped the folders wp_admin and wp_includes to make it easier to upload to the server which cut the time down considerably considering I am on a dialup connection.
