How my business will change for the better in 2021 and why

    December 17, 2020 / No Comments

In a lot of ways this year I have been perfectly positioned to do well despite a global pandemic. So maybe this should be a post on how and why I have weathered this storm. I might still write one of those posts. But moving forward, some things are going to change about how I run this business. And all of them have nothing to do with Covid-19. Some of them have been thoughts in the back of my head for years. Some changes are merely to make sure I don’t become too stressed.

An update on Gin & Tonic

    January 24, 2019 / No Comments

For those of you who are new and who may not be aware, I am writing a crime novel. This should not really surprise anyone. I love reading crime fiction. But I started writing this story last year. And I was lucky enough to smash out some huge chunks of words during my KSP and Varuna writing fellowship stays. Why I am resurrecting my Patreon account

    January 14, 2019 / No Comments

Some of you may have already known this via social media or the mailing list. I have restarted my Patreon account. For $1 per month you can read the draft of my crime fiction book Gin & Tonic as I write it, start to finish, with two posts per month. The first one went live yesterday and they are scheduled up until mid July with more to come because I have a ton of pages of scribble to type up. For some of you, this is not your thing at all. You want to know what I do via the blog or the newsletter but you are not really otherwise…

Happy New Year! 2016 and a new project!

    January 1, 2016 / 3 Comments

Happy New Year! I wish you all the best for 2016.  And I hope none of you are too hungover. It’s the time for resolutions and goal settings. So tell me what your goals are for this year? And how are you planning to keep to them?  The second question is a bit more important than the first one. I can set a goal for myself but I need to set a plan in place or I won’t achieve it.
